About Us
Our Mission
To give the gift of a final goodbye by providing flights for loved ones to be together during times of palliative or critical illness.
Our Vision
To create a compassionate bridge for families to connect by donating one billion miles to people wishing to visit their terminally or critically ill loved ones.
Who We Are
Give A Mile is a registered charity in Canada and the US that offers flights to connect people in palliative or critical care with their loved ones. We allow them to create moments and make memories that will live on.
Give A Mile is a registered non-profit in Canada and the US that offers flights worldwide.
WHAT WE DO
Give A Mile uses donated frequent flyer miles, loyalty points and cash from compassionate individual donors and corporate sponsors to purchase flights.
Donations cover round-trip flights of compassion, travel fees and taxes so families can focus on what matters most: sharing final moments with their loved ones.
our inspiration
Founder, Kevin Crowe, experienced the power of a final goodbye during the passing of his good friend, Ryan Westerman. In Ryan’s final days, both he and his close family and friends were at peace knowing nothing had been left unsaid and wished that more end of life experiences could unfold this way for more people
In time, Kevin learned that trillions of air miles went unused in 2011 and this fact spurred him to begin Give A Mile as a way to continue Ryan’s legacy.

Kimberly’s Flight Story
Flying from New York to Texas
When a father and daughter have a close relationship, you don’t want to see them die alone. That was the case for Kimberly, her father was alone in hospice with no one there to be by his bedside. Kimberly was struggling with not being there for him.
