Give A Mile is a group of volunteers who believe strongly in the power of providing people in palliative or critical condition, who are in need, more time with the ones they love.

We get to experience many milestones in each of our lifetimes. Some of these are momentous and life changing and some are small day-to-day victories and challenges. 

Times are tough in many parts of Canada and the world. So here is a success story that is on-going in spite of an economic downturn. Give A Mile (GAM) is about to award it’s 200th flight of compassion in just over two years since foundation!

In the book Influencer: The New Science of Leading Change authored by Joseph Grenny, he discusses that there are more travel loyalty miles going unused on the planet than cash circulating in the U.S. economy right now.

We recently had a Give A Mile 2015 planning session, we set some very big targets for this coming year.  Our goal in 2015 is 150 flights, double last year’s success and 3x our 2014 goal.

It’s true.. amazing people are everywhere!  Here at Give A Mile (GAM) we’ve had an incredible month. Behind the scenes we added bitcoin donations and a smoother workflow to allow direction of donated miles to specific stories on the GAM website.
