Our Sister and sister-in-law McKayla stroked out during childbirth and is not expected to recover. She is under hospice care as of right now. We are a family of 5 on a one income household. It is just not in our budget to go and spend the little time left with her. (FYI she is arranging child care to look after the kids) This flight is for me and my fiancé. It is his sister who is currently dying. He video chatted his last words to her, but I know that for him, it’s not the same. I know he wants so badly to be there but knows that financially he cannot take all the time off work to go. Driving takes 12 hours one way. Flights are just too expensive for our family right now.
