We have 4 children. John* and Robert* are our biological children, and they are both autistic. Kaden is bipolar and deaf in one ear.
Asher has severe depression and epilepsy. Our finances are stretched thin with their needs. We recently took in 2 more kiddos as foster children. They are brothers and one is autistic and requires a lot of care. The other has severe trauma and requires a lot of supports and interventions. We were saving to send Jonathan to NC next month as we knew mom’s health was declining but it took a drastic turn for the worst this week and we have only days to get there before she passes.
