Joseph has just completed a rehabilitation program across the country, in California. While he came out of this program healthier, he also emerged without a job and without resources. When the news of his aunt’s condition reached him, the weight of his situation felt overwhelming. Joseph’s aunt is his “hero and an angel” to him, seeing him through anything and everything he’s ever been through. The thought of not being there for his aunt, the one person who had been a constant in his life, was too painful for Joseph to bear.
