Jeremy recently took a flight from Moncton to Windsor, a journey that reunited him with his siblings for the first time in years. Jeremy joined his family to rally around his sister Marsha, who had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, knowing that this was likely their last chance to all be together. For Jeremy, a single father and sole provider for his family, this trip was only possible thanks to the support and kindness of those who made it happen.
Growing up, Jeremy didn’t know his paternal siblings. It was only in recent years that they reconnected, but with all their busy lives, it was hard to stay in touch. So, when the time came to be with Marsha, he knew he needed to be there. This flight brought him back into the arms of his family, creating memories that will stay with them forever. With your support, he was able to join his siblings to share stories, laughter, and memories, holding onto every moment they had together.
Marsha was ecstatic. The trip meant the world to all of us as we finally had a chance for all the siblings to be together for the first time ever.
Easily one of, if not the best and most fulfilling, weekends of my life.
