Two Siblings’ Flight to Be With Their Mom—Toyota on the Park

Flight Stories #1396 & #1397

Toronto, Ontario > Moncton, New Brunswick

For Samuel and Sephora, this flight meant traveling home to be with their mother, Sheron, during a very important time. In their applications, they shared that their mom is living with a serious health condition and is receiving palliative care. Being together with her now felt especially meaningful.

Samuel explained that his relationship with his mother has always been close, and that distance and growing responsibilities have made it difficult to spend time together. He shared how much it would mean to be with her in person and to have uninterrupted time together.
Sephora, a full-time university student, also shared how challenging it has been to balance school, work, and finances while living far from her parents. With limited income, affording travel on her own was not possible, even though being present with her mother felt essential.
Thanks to the generosity of Toyota on the Park, flights were approved for both siblings. After receiving the news, Sephora shared her gratitude, writing:

“This is amazing news. Thank you guys so much — my family and I greatly appreciate this opportunity.”

Because of Toyota on the Park, Samuel and Sephora were able to travel to be with their mom — sharing time, presence, and family support when it mattered most.
We are deeply grateful to the Toyota on the Park for helping families come together during life’s most important moments.

Every donation helps people reach their loved ones for one last hug, smile, and farewell.
