For Sadie, her dad has always been the person she could count on.
No matter what was happening in life, Claude would drop everything if it meant helping his daughter or making sure she was okay.

Now, Sadie is facing the terrifying reality of possibly losing him.
Claude is currently on life support in Vancouver. With his condition so critical and uncertain, Sadie knew she needed to get there as quickly as possible.
Because when someone has always shown up for you, all you want is the chance to show up for them too.
Sadie also shared that her father has limited contact with other family members, making this visit feel even more important and urgent.
“I want to at least see him one more time in case something happens for the worse,” she wrote.
At just 19 years old, Sadie was carrying an enormous emotional weight while also trying to navigate the financial reality of emergency travel. Living in northern British Columbia, the cost of last-minute flights to Vancouver can quickly become overwhelming for families already struggling to get by.
Still, the need to go never changed.
Because no daughter wants distance to stand in the way during moments like these.
Thanks to the generosity of Lexus On The Park, Sadie was able to travel from Terrace, British Columbia to Vancouver, British Columbia to be with her father during this incredibly difficult time.
This flight is more than a journey.
It is a daughter getting the chance to sit beside the man who always protected her, supported her, and put her first.
