A Son’s Flight to Be With His Parents-NAV Canada

Flight Story #1381

Calgary, Alberta > Winnipeg, Manitoba

For Christopher, this flight meant the chance to visit his parents during an important time. In his application, it was shared that Christopher is living with a serious health condition and is receiving palliative care. He expressed a strong wish to travel to Winnipeg to spend time with his parents while he is still able to do so.
Christopher lives in Lake Louise and was supported in submitting his request by a health care professional. While flexible with travel dates, he hoped to make the trip in early December and spend one week with his parents.
With limited financial resources, Christopher was unable to afford the cost of travel on his own. He reached out to Give A Mile hoping for help in making this visit possible.
Thanks to the generosity of NAV Canada, Christopher’s flight was approved. This journey will allow him to be with his parents and share meaningful time together during this time.
We are grateful to NAV Canada for helping bring families together when time is precious.

Every donation helps people reach their loved ones for one last hug, smile, and farewell.
