Flight Story #1290
From Waterloo, ON > Calgary, AB – $691.52 CAD
Taylor’s dad is facing stage 3 pancreatic cancer. It’s aggressive, it’s fast, and it’s terrifying. At just 25 years old, Taylor is carrying a lot—working full-time to support not only himself but also his mom. They live paycheck to paycheck, doing their best to manage life’s basics. But this isn’t basic. This is life-changing.
His dad lives in a different province. The kind of distance that demands a plane ticket—and Taylor just doesn’t have the extra money. Still, he’s desperate for one more moment with the man who raised him.
“My dad has been my whole life. He’s turning 67 on June 1st, if he makes it. Realizing I’m going to lose him is awful. I just want one more hug. One more ‘I love you.’”
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Lexus On The Park, Taylor doesn’t have to miss this moment.
Because of them, Taylor will be able to wrap his arms around his dad, say what needs to be said, and carry the memory of that last embrace with him forever.
During his visit with his dad, Taylor emailed us these beautiful words of gratitude from his dad and himself:
“I wanted to thank you a million times over for getting me out here to see my Dad. I feel beyond lucky to have had the opportunity to get out here with quite a lot less stress on my plate and I hope that someone else is able to feel as lucky as you’ve made me feel and see their loved ones”

Flight Recipient
Taylor’s dad, Craig, also expressed his gratitude:
"I just wanted the opportunity to express how grateful I am to you folks for facilitating Taylor’s air fare to get out here to Calgary. I couldn’t be more grateful for the role you continue to play in helping my family through a very difficult time. You have gone above and beyond and words fall short expressing how I feel, but they are all I have. Thank you!”

Craig
Taylor finished with “Again, just again a big thank you and I think what you do is amazing and the world needs more people like you in it. Like my dad said, words can’t express how grateful either of us are. I hope life is good to you always”
Thank you, Lexus On The Park, for making this flight of compassion possible. Your kindness is more than a ticket—it’s a chance for healing, closure, and love.
