A Message From The Flight Recipient:

I arrived on PEI in Charlottetown during April of 2017. At the time I was working in a fish plant and I was also involved with the community. I was helping elderly people and taking care of kids as a volunteer job while I improved my language skills

I have been accepted for the education faculty at UPEI to do Master in Education next year and I am developing a writing course program. I have a student visa until April 2019. In addition, I got pregnant in 2017 and my daughter was born here at the beginning of this year. I am a single mother who is trying to continue my studies. Despite not having any economic support from the government; I pay for my rent, my food, and my studies. The Colombian peso is a devaluated currency but my family is putting forward a huge effort to keep me and my daughter here in Canada. Mia will have a better future in Canada and I am proud she is an Islander.

My father is 82 years old. He got sick last year and this year he is going to the hospital again. Unfortunately the doctors do not have expectations of improvement for him. I would like to see him again and have him meet Mia, his granddaughter. I kindly ask if you could make a trip from Charlottetown, PEI to Bogota Colombia possible. I do not have the economical capacity to pay for a round trip flight at the end of this year.
