Hello, I am Muriel. I am 54 years old, single, and have two children in their twenties. In May 2015 I was diagnosed with colon rectal cancer. I have a tumour. My first operation left me with an ileostomy which is a pouch on the outside of my body to empty my bowels. I have just finished 5 weeks of radiation and chemo pills which has left me weak and tired. The radiation was required because the tumour needed to be shrunk before it can be removed. My operation is November 3rd 2015. Hopefully the tumour will be removed. After the tumour is removed I have 5 months of intense chemo. I would love to see my sister before the operation because I need her and miss her and she cannot come to me, due to work and finances. If you could help me I would be so happy and thankful. I am not a person who normally would ask for help but would really appreciate your help. Thank you for your time and all the good work you have done for so many people.
