My biological mother, Diane, is at ARCH hospice and has terminal brain and lung cancer. Her prognosis is to pass away within 3 months if not sooner. I lived with Diane until I was 2 years old and was then adopted into a non biological family. My birth dad Ken and my mom were stationed in Washington. My mom is a Canadian citizen. I started to have a relationship with my biological mom when I was 17 years old. After I made contact with her the visits were sporadic. When my daughter was 5 years old we built a relationship with one another. I have always wanted her to meet my mother and this is my wish and her wish but we can’t make it happen due to financial reasons. The financial burden of my daughters illness 5 years go prohibited me from making it to see my mom sooner. Fortunately after 3 months in hospital my daughter made a full recovery. The reason why this is extremely important to myself and Diane. I want Diane to have closure and to meet my mom before she dies. This is so important to us and I wish I had more time but I don’t.
